People who See the Future
Acts 19:21 After all this had happened, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. "After I have been there," he said, "I must visit Rome also."

If the teacher gives a wrong question, even a bright student can’t get the answer right. We need to understand the question first in order to find our way to the answer. Paul saw the facts correctly with the eyes to see the future, his life and world evangelization. When great works took place in Ephesus, Paul wasn’t overexcited or thrilled. Rather, he made the confession, ‘I must visit Rome also’. This confession has three meanings.
1. He saw the facts Paul saw the facts.
Most people don’t and speak from their own point of view. Instead of seeing the overall picture, they are only concerned with personal matters. Remnants must be able to see the facts in all aspects of their lives. This will prevent them from falling into trials. If you are not factual, you won’t understand the spiritual things and only see the incidents happening around you. They will make you fall into trials. You have to see the facts in order to understand the Gospel. When you perceive man factually, you realize there is no hope.
2. He saw what was needed
Paul saw what was definitely necessary. You should be able to see the whole world, but more important is to see what is really needed. Wherever you are, if you do what is necessary you will be acknowledged. Once you see what is necessary can you speak wise words. Paul knew what was needed in his age, so he was able to overcome any hardship. This is when true doors of evangelism open.
3. He saw the future
Paul saw the future. He saw the spiritual problems, failure, culture and the economy of the future. He also saw the 2nd round of the Gospel movement that was needed because of all this. That is why he didn’t sway in the midst of the storm. He was bold when he stood in court. This is when the works of the Gospel and God’s miracles took place, and Satan’s work was crushed.
