Those Who Remained
Acts 1:6~8│ “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (8)
How could Joseph who was a slave become the governor?
How could the shepherd boy David become a king? How
could the Early Church that was framed as a heresy do Rome
evangelization? These people were “those who remained”
and relayed the Gospel to places that did not have it. God
poured down every blessing and gave all things to “those who
remained” and possessed the Gospel. How were they able to
save the world?
1. Those Who Remained, the Remnants
The Remnants of this age must remember their identity:
“I am the one who remained, the Remnant. I am the Remnant
who will break down darkness.” The Remnants of the Bible,
Joseph and David, believed in this very covenant. The many
hardships and sufferings they had experienced eventually
became their journey to save the field and the world.
2. Those Who Remained, Church Officers
Obadiah was an important church officer who knew the
covenant. He was a vassal who did his work so well that even
the wicked King Ahab acknowledged him. At the same time,
he was a disciple of Elijah who hid and supported 100 prophets.
He was the hidden main figure who would later raise the 7,000
disciples and the Dothan movement. In the Early Church, the
devotion of a few church officers changed Rome. Gaius was a
disciple and host who helped Paul and every evangelist during
that time.
If you go on the Covenant Journey, all answers will follow. The
Bible compares the Remnant’s journey with that of a tree.Christ,
the stump, a new sprout, a tree, and a forest Just as Remnants who
have laid roots in the covenant of Christ follow the Covenant
Journey,C.V.D.I.P. they will surely go on the journey of saving
the world. All In, All Out, and All Change
