1. Standing Alone – The First, the Last, and the Eternal Opportunity
Unlike his brothers, David succeeded in standing alone before God. As a shepherd, he nurtured his faith, prepared his skills, and had great hope for his future. Loneliness and persecution are the best opportunities for Remnants who have the Gospel. Being in a confined field such as the military, are the first, the last, and the eternal opportunity of blessings for being alone.
2. Going Toward the Future Together – the Evidence of Actual Experience
David held onto the covenant of the Messiah and meditated on God's Word. He praised God knowing why He had called him as a king.recorded Psalms Unlike his brothers, he dreamed of God-given dreams and prepared his unique skills. He realistically experienced his skills every day and held onto to the sure evidence. He was used throughout his life as a victorious leader on both spiritual and physical battle fields.
God has prepared gifts for those Remnants who are like David and walk on the Covenant Journey.C.V.D.I.P.
