You Can Escape from Disasters, If You Break Your Old Frames
Acts 27:24 │ And he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’
When Paul faced a great storm at sea, God gave him a historic message that broke his old frame. You are trapped within the “old frames” of “me, people, and work.” What must you do to break your “old frames?”
1. Change Old Frames to New Frames
The beginning of breaking “old frames” is important. “Only Gospel” and God’s Word can break “old frames.” That’s why Jesus spoke of true blessings;Matthew 5:1~16 parables of Heaven; Matthew 13:1~50 and ChristMatthew 16:13~20 to the Israelites who were colonized by Rome.
2. The Process of New FramesJewish people and the Endthe Early Church
The Jewish people nailed Jesus Christ on the cross, but the resurrected Christ prepared “new frames” for His disciples. Matthew 28:16~20 The Jewish people were confined in the nature of slavery and colonization; however, Jesus told His disciples that they would be witnesses to the end of the earth.Acts1:8 In 70 A.D., when the nation of Israel was destroyed and its people wandered. The “scattered ones” who possessed the Gospel did world evangelization. Likewise, for God’s children, all problems are a process to instill “new frames.”
The members of the Early Church were instilled with “new frames.” Because they possessed the covenant, they gathered knowing what the end would be.Acts 1:14 They raised a church, commissioned missionaries, and preached the Gospel in Macedonia and Rome.
